Anna Kleman is a contemporary Canadian painter. She is an art school graduate from former Czechoslovakia, where she worked as an art teacher. In Canada she pursued a career in fashion and jewelry design, before returning to her creative wellspring of painting.

In her paintings she meticulously explores the interplay of textured surfaces and paint executed in discrete colours, using them to achieve a visual narrative that captures equilibrium between impressionism and abstraction. Like a lifting mist on a landscape, the impression in her work reveals hints of the vista that lies within it.

She works in her studio in Stratford, Canada.
